Trying to figure out what to eat can be overwhelming. Every diet/lifestyle trend and philosophy promises to be the ultimate solution and offers up evidence to support that.
The main philosophy that underlies my practice is bio-individuality: each person is a unique individual requiring a different set of food and lifestyle factors that will allow them to feel their best. Bio-Individuality comes into play in regards to what you eat and how your body will react to that food. However, I take it a step further to access the stage you’re at in your health journey. Outlining the ‘ideal’ solution isn’t helpful if your current life circumstance can’t accommodate it. For this reason I try to offer very specific solutions that don’t require you to change everything about your life, but rather have you working towards a diet and lifestyle you can embody and feel joyful about for a long time.
Recipe Development + Content Creation
I do recipe developing for both health food cafes and product development for larger scale production. My focus has been on paleo, keto and vegan options, as well as some more specific protocols such as auto-immune paleo. I create content - recipes, images and blog posts for health food companies or online magazines.

Contact Improvisation (CI) is a movement form that touches on yoga, gymnastics, aikido and contemporary dance. These elements make it accessible, somatically rich and designed to improve body awareness, both in the practice and outside of it. For me, the greatest benefits of CI are seen outside of the dance floor. It is mostly done as a duet involving physical contact, weight bearing, supporting and being open to the moment to sustain fluidity, trust and ease. We explore how to transition from the floor to standing and into more dynamic lifting, falling, working with gravity and with the surface of the floor.
I co-faciliate a weekly class at Sima Performing Arts in Alserkal Avenue and am available to facilitate more classes upon request.
Tara Atkinson and I created a CI informed video dance piece that showed at Tashkeel (an art studio in Dubai). For more information on it click here.
